JQEdit fires linked field onChange event when post dataset

by fateh78 » 16 Mar 2017 23:22

Try to pot a DataSet, DataSource, IWCGJQEdit, on a form then link IWCGJQEdit to dataset
if the field linked to the edit has OnChange event, the event is fired when you post the dataset even you do not change the field value !!! ???

:oops: :oops: :oops:
but i did not make any change to the field value
check the button "Post" event :
procedure TMainForm.IWCGJQButton1JQButtonOptionsClick(Sender: TObject; AParams: TStringList);
begin
ClientDataSet1.Edit;
ClientDataSet1.Post;
end;
===========================
when you click "Post" button the field onchange event is fired

Hi fateh78,

As you know, the TClientDataSet is delphi component, if you have some questions about it/how to works, please check the delphi documentation.

Best Regards.

Really i am astonished :o :o :?
can i consider these replies as "racism" :D :D

dear Alixender :
what i am saying is very clear, the problem not in the clientdataset because this not happens in desktop app nor even if you try to put an IWDBEdit instead of IWCGJQEdit you will get the expected result

please any body here can help to explain more :idea: :idea:

Hello

We changed the demo using IWDBEdit and now see we see whatt you mean, it wasn't clear at all at the begining, you could start to say that IWCGJQEdit wasn't behaving like IWDBEdit,

We'll look at this issue, sorry for the misunderstanding.
Best Regards
