Post here the problems associated with javascript or browser.

Hello,

Was just on website and the online V2 demo looks good. I noticed that when using IE the menu on left has a scroll bar. When using Chrome and Firefox, the scroll bar is not there.

Hi Lou

I'm not seeing anything wrong in IE10

In what IE version did you tested?

Hello,

I had opportunity to test on multiple computers. I tried on windows 7-64 and Windows XP-64 and it displays fine in all 3 browsers. This behavior only occurs on my Windows 8 Pro 64 development machine. I have latest MS updates loaded, so this is a strange one.

My development machine is Window s 7 64 bit and with the Online demo I also do not have a scroll bar when viewing with Chrome.

I have also compiled the Version 2 demo and get the same results

I have just recompiled the Demo 2 project with IW 14.0.15 and cgDevTools 1.7.0.2858.

The problem with the missing scrollbar in Chrome still exists along with the error in IE "Automation server can not create object" when an accordion tab is clicked.

These problems are also still present if I try to run the web demo 2

Hi jredoc

I'm sorry, but we're unable to confirm any of these issues

Dos this happens in your machine only or in any other machine?

Interesting

I have tried the online demo with both Chrome and IE on multiple Windows 7 machines and a Windows Server 2008 will not issues. The problem is only present on my development machine both when I run the demo via a browser and when I execute the demo2 project from the XE3 IDE and then run the demo.

Interestingly, I do not have the aforementioned issues with IE or Chrome in any of the IW/cdDevTool projects that I am developing.

Just intuitively, is the fact that the development machine has IW 14.0.15 installed and the IE error references IW12 a clue. See attached error when click on accordion tab with demo viewed in IE

TIA

John
