How can you mix your components with standard IW components?

by magosk » 06 Feb 2015 10:28

We plan to migrate a couple of our IntraWeb applications to using IWCGJQ components instead of standard IW ones. One option is to refactor the whole application, and make a single major release (which will take some time), another is to migrate in steps by replacing some of the forms in several minor releases. A possible first step is to add or replace certain components in existing forms. My questions is if there are any general restrictions when mixing standard IW components and IWCGJQ components? For example: are there certain components that cannot coexist on the same form? Does some IWCGJQ components require being on a IWCGJQ-specific region or frame? Is there any problem if the existing form uses a custom style sheet?

One example i tried in a small test project was the Intro component, and it seemed to work fine with a few standard IW controls.

Best regards

Hi magosk,

You can mix IW and IWCGJQ componentes without any limitation.

Best Regards.
