SynEdit

by PeterSondergaard » 03 May 2021 15:58

Hi

I am experience a problem with the SynEdit version in the CGDevTool.

I would like to use the SynEdit tool that I can install through the GetIt manager but it conflicts with the one included in CG.

The reason why I wish to use the version in GetIt is due to the larger number of functions available in the Getit version.

Is there a way to get rid of the SynEdit version in CG either through the install kit or by recompiling the source code.?

I am using Rad Studio 10.4.1 and CG version 4.1.0.259

Regards
Peter

I have checked the post you refered to.

I have reinstalled the latest official installation kit but sadly is there no option in the installationkit where I can remove the Synedit setting.

I am not familiar with the term LMK. Can you tell me what that means?

Alternatively do you have an example where the Synedit is used and where the search and replace functions is used together with the highlighter feature (Using your implementation of Synedit).
