Carousel Transition Only Slides

by dfields » 27 Jul 2014 00:23

The Carousel.JQCarouselOPtions.TransitionStyle property setting is ignored. Since you added the component I have been using it with jqctsFade as the setting. I am using the control to show 1 item at a time in SingleItem mode. That allowed me to quickly jump to different panels as needed by the UI. Since installing 2.2.1.13 the transition slides instead of fading. It also shows all panels in between when jumping to the desired one.

I have attached a test project that shows the carousel set as I have been using it. I left the Navigation on, and included buttons for random movement to other panels.

This project is in D2010 and IW12. I went back to the last stable version and I get the same behavior. It was working fine at one point. I went through both of the references you provided and everything is in order.

I posted a live version of the test project I posted so you can see that the fade does not work. I looked at the Debug Tools/Console in IE and there are errors. They do not mean anything to me. The posted example is very simple and uncluttered. http://promostreak.net:8888

Where else can I look?

Seems to happen only in IE...
Will check the problem...

Best Regards.

Nope. Not in Chrome, IE or Fire Fox. All of them slide.

Are you sure about FireFox, did you checked?

I just tried it from an iPad and it fades! What could stop it from working on just one machine?!
