TIWCGJQCarousel - How to change visible panel in IDE

I'm attempting to use the Carousel as a wizard in my application, but in the IDE I am unable to select a panel other than the first. Sure, I can build the frame/region elsewhere and drag and drop it on the 2nd or 3rd or 4th panel (etc, etc), but it would be great if I could just assemble the region directly on a specific panel.
Suggestions?
