Hi,

since reading bar codes on computer camera have very limited usage I was wandering if you are planing to release mobile version of WebCodeCam module (will work on android) ?

In mobile platform, you will have same limitations, since the web interface can't access to restricted area/components/system.

I tried to use webcam on the phone but it doesn't work at all. Is there any cgdevtools component that can be used to access phone camera or is that no possible (I would like to create app that would read product bar codes over the phone).

The web languages as javascript and jquery, can use the available API of browser only, there is nothing with components.
We will check if we can share the JQWebCodeCam, to be used in mobile version.
