IWCGPayPalCart and accessing items, quantities etc.

Questions & Answers about IWCGJQuery Suite.

Hi CG

No current Component area to post this question, so here for now :)

I have been trying to access values for cost and quantity for items contained within an IWCGPayPal Cart. Something along the lines of setting a BrowserParam in the OnClick of an 'Add to Cart' button, so I can check for example if more than one of an item has been put in the cart, then respond accordingly if a limit is reached. This is an example of the sort of thing I'm trying to implement ...

https://github.com/jeffharrell/minicart/blob/master/examples/fixedquantity.html

... so far all my efforts at setting a BrowserParam have resulted in being undefined and I've tried many times. Would you be able to point me in the right direction to achieve this ?

thanks and best wishes

At this moment, it's impossible to do this because we use old version of plugin.
And we can't update it easily because the new version have another structure.

But we implement new functionalities in V2.0.0.3382:

JQPayPalCart
- Added: new events OnAfterChangeQuantity and OnExceedMaxQuantity
- Added: maxquantity to set the max quantity per product

Since that version, you will able to set the MaxQuantity per product and when user exceed the max quantity, will trigger the OnExceedMaxQuantity event.

Best Regards.

... ahhh, that's why I found it so difficult

Never mind, there's plenty to be doing for the time being. Look forward to v 2.0.0.3382 in due course.

thanks and best regards
