What is the recommend solution for representing grid data in a mobile app? One column needs to contain a check button.

Hi mrcarver,

There is no tricks.
This component is for the desktop and is not optimized to be used in mobile.

Best Regards.

I was asking generally the recommended solution for rendering grid data. I see no grid control within the Mobile components. My thought was to use the TIWCGJQMGridPanel, but it is not readily obvious how to employ it.

So, again my question... What does CG recommend for rendering grid data on a mobile device?

Regards,
Monte Carver

I have the same problem. I tried using a desktop grid component and that went horribly wrong on the mobile browser. I only need to display 1 or 2 narrow columns, but the number of rows varies from 0-15. Not too much to ask, even on a mobile screen.

Hello

We already support jqgridmobile TIWCGJMGrid in latest cgdevtools versions

http://www.trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/mobile/

But since this plugin is not free, you need to purchase its javascript version, send us the invoice copy as proof, and we sent you the instructions to activate.

this grid looks REALLY cool, and exactly what i need (and i think most of us who need grids will love it too).
but i'm "not so strong" with js, so does it mean that i will need to work with it only with js, and no Delphi at all please?

sorry, i have 3.0.0.115, and i don't see it in the component palette.
what am i missing (or didn't understand - English is not my main language) please?

You don't need do any code with Javascript, we already handle it in our component IWCGJQMGrid.

sorry, i have 3.0.0.115, and i don't see it in the component palette.

Because the component was added in ~3.0.0.161 version...

Please notice, you need to purchase the jQuery Plugin :
