General discussion

Hi,

I got a problem with my update... I have updated my components from 1.9 to 2.0 but, when i open Delphi, it still says i'm on version 1.9 and after loading the program, my components doesn't work.

Here are the screen shots of the problem:

Image
*Top image is from the update file (after installation).
*Bottom image is from Delphi (After opening the software).

Image
*Error inside Delphi, saying that i'm not authorized to use the component.

Ps: Would you respond Brazilian Portuguese questions?

Are you sure you installed for that Delphi version?

Each setup can install for many Delphi versions.

Actually, the most likely is you are installing a cgdevtools setup for a intraweb version different than what you have.

So, it seems to me that i had to uninstall the previous versions in order to make it work on Windows 8.1.

Here's what i did... I've used "REVO Uninstaller Portable" and it deleted all the folders and windows register of the component and then, i just ran the setup again. Now it's working flawlessly!

previous versions of?

cgdevtools automatically uninstalls the previous version.

Well you fix it, great,

but this only happens when there are mismatches between intraweb and cgdevtools versions, or when the user doesn't remove the intraweb bundled version that comes with delphi.
