Setting the Colomn Order in JQGrid

Hi,

When I was defining the columns for my JQGrid, I was not able to select the correct column order by means of
the popup column property editor where one can move a column up or down by means of the up or down arrow.
Instead used the Position property of the column to manually set the position of the column in the grid.

I thought I bring it to your attention.

Col.Position is what counts.

The column order or index in the Columns collection is different from

Because it can be changed and the position persisted if JQGridPersist.Active = True
