TIWCGJQLockIndicator mobile example

General discussion

by magosk » 03 Jan 2014 11:09

Hi! Do you have an example where you use this component in a mobile web app? I can't get it to work myself. I have dropped it on a form, added an item to the Indicators list, set Control to the page type TIWCGJQMRegion for this item, and then selected the lock indicator for a VClick event where I have an (AJAX) event handler. I do not see anything happening on the form though, and the event handler is never fired on the server side.

We're checking this

Apparently since we changed to jqueryMobile 1.10, and since this version does not supports $.browser,

the indicator plugin stopped work (o)

Fixing with high priority.

Our apologies.
Best Regards

Hi magosk,

Added new components TIWCGJQMAjaxBrowserHistory and TIWCGJQMLockIndicator in V1.9.0.3285.

These components are more appropriate for use in mobile.

Best Regards.

Hi!

I'm still not getting it to work with the new mobile specific version. Do you have some simple (mobile) example that I can look at?

Regards

Thanks,

but I don't get your example to work on Delphi XE, IW 12.2.27 (had to add an extra parameter to IWServerControllerBaseNewSession, but otherwise no changes), CGDevTools 1.9.0.3292, I tried with iOS, Android and Chrome. You see nothing graphically changing when you click the button, and the VClick handler is never fired on the server side.

Yes, I have updated wwwroot before running the web application. I get the same behaviour in this case when I run your demo out of the box (well almost, I added IWCGLicenseKey to the dpr uses caluse), the button VClick handler is never executed. What am I missing here?
