How To Use CGMMessageDlg()

General discussion

Howdy All!

I have finally started trying the CGDevTools Mobile and I am trying to mimic my desktop web app as much as possible.

I created a TIWAppForm and dropped the following components:

TIWCGJQMRegion *IWFrameRegion;
TIWCGJQMImage*PageHeaderImage;
TIWCGJQMPageHeader *NavigationBar;
TIWCGJQMListView *EventsListView;
TIWCGJQMImage *PageFooterImage;

in the proper order.

I then hard-coded a few things and ran it.

I got what I was expecting.

I then decided to try and implement a modal yes/no dialog using CGMMessageDlg() like I do its counterpart function in the desktop components. I implemented the call from within the left button click of the PageHeader component and I tried it in the OnVClick() event for one of my ListView items.

I tried both ajax/non-ajax and the results were the same (BAD)!

What happens is the Yes/No dialog displays as expected BUT the underlying page goes dark. Clicking on either button executes the result event as expected but the dialog stays atop unless I call it's Hide() method from within the OnResultEvent(). The page is still blank / dark.

I am obviously not doing this right.

Could I get an example with how to use the CGMMessageDlg() from within a button click.

Thanks!

Hi Aggie85,

You're right! Something was breaking the code...
Fixed for the next build.
Thanks.

Best Regards.
