Mysterious Ajax behaviour and TIWCGJQMButton

General discussion

by Soren SDF » 06 Dec 2013 11:16

Hi.

On one of my forms i create a bunch of buttons dynamically with UseAjax and the JQMButtonOptions.Events.OnVClick.Ajax set to True.
When i deploy the application (as a windows service) to our server and run it in the local browser it works as intended but if i access the application from another machine in our network or via the internet from my phone the page first hangs for some time and then i get the error message:

Ajax event
"JQMButtonOptions.Events.OnVClick, JQMButtonOptions.Events.OnVClick not found"

Yes, it actually says the OnVClick thing twice...
Any ideas?

Hi Soren SDF,

It must be something related with accesses,

The code for Application or Service is the same, we don't have to control that.

Are you able to debug the service?

Best Regards.

I went thorugh the whole process of removing stuff until it worked and then putting it back in until it broke.
Turns out it was my own code that was faulty. I had a label on the form where i put some HTML dynamically and in that HTML i had an unclosed tag.
It said "<strong>+Stringvariable+<strong>" and when i corrceted it to "<strong>+Stringvariable+</strong>" it fixed it. Strange.
