Send file to uploader from external source

Good Morning Guys,

Is it possible to submit a file to the uploader from an external source? Basically I'd like my form with the file uploader to be an endpoint. Here's the example:

1. I have a user logged into a session.
2. the user visits an external website and needs to send the information back to their logged in session

Is this possible? If so, how would I accomplish this? Do I just submit to a particular URL?

Thanks for your input, maybe I'm just overthinking this.

A File. Right now, with our existing software, my user can print the contents of an external website to our custom printer and it

1. Creates a PDF
2. Sends that file to our (desktop program)
3. Prompts the user to attach the file to a client


I want to simulate this behavior with our web application, by allowing the user to send a file to the JQFileUploader from the external website. Is this possible?

Hi esthermann,

Well, you can't upload from external url, but you can use JQDownload,
checks our example "from url", the server will download the file from given url.
