Performance and top padding using style2

I'm showing the result of a query in a TIWCGPanelList.
Inside each Item caption I put a table to show each field aligned in its own space.
Is it the best and fastest way to show records in "multiline" view ?
Using ListStyle = style2 I get a bad-looking top padding in the list (about 5/6 px).
Is it possible to remove it ?
