What is image specification for node pictures?

Hi there. From what I can see, each node can have a different picture but there is nothing I can find on the image specifications. In the component, it says PNG in the type so that implies a PNG type image file. Whatever I choose for an image and the size never works and I have given up fiddling and decided to post the question here in case someone got this to work. I was down to a 17x22 pixel image of 4k. Another was 1K @ 21x27 pixel. I tried embedded and URL.

In the howto at the top of this forum, if you can add the image specifications, that would make the documentation complete. We need the picture type, max pixel size, max file size and maximum color recommendations if any.

You can change the image size only by creating new theme with new sizes.

Ah, OK. Thanks Alex. I was thinking all I did was tell the system that I had a new picture and then it would use it. So no embedded or URL picture capability and we need to use theme. Cheers.
