IWCGJQGMap3 Not Displaying Maps

by farhath » 17 Jan 2016 16:08

I am simply dropping a IWCGJQGMap3 control on my main form and expecting it to display some maps, but I keep getting a blank screen, all the control's settings are the defaults' ones. I tried the the IWCGJQGMap and it works perfectly.

Should I be doing something else in order to display maps.

I am using Intraweb 14.50, CGDevTools - 2.8.0.0181, Delphi XE10 Update1.

Of course - Yes :)

I tried the the IWCGJQGMap and it works perfectly.

Yeah, and check the source to check the missing settings (e.g: API key)

Best Regards.

I am really new to Intraweb and this component. The example I have from the demo does not work,
I tried the following:
I got a key from google(Google Maps JavaScript API) which I included in the GoogleMapsAPIURL as below
http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?key= ... qQcPRUXEnw

and nothing happened, I still can see any maps... I just need the initial steps and I will take it from there.

Hi farhath,

I just need the initial steps and I will take it from there.

Of course, and we will help you.
But, we also spent the time to create the example demo for our customers.
So, you need only follow the strcuture and re-use our code.

Best Regards.

I cannot imagine why you're having that error.

Can you send us your demo?

I am directly in contact with your support, they helped figure out why the map was not showing, basically, I forget to add the address and this is why it was showing a blank page.
