Ok, but if HISTORIE is a TMemoField


(UserSession.cdsClient.fieldByName('HISTORIE') is TMemoField)

((UserSession.cdsClient.fieldByName('HISTORIE') as TMemoField).Value should be the same as
UserSession.cdsClient.fieldByName('HISTORIE') .AsString:

also for TWideMemoField.

The only way i can see to handled this issue, is at DataLink, adding the events OnGetText and OnSetText..

We did this for next release, available for download tomorrow

DataLink:
- Added events OnUpdateControl to modify the behaviour when the controls needs to be updated with the field value and OnUpdateField when the field data needs to be set because of an insertion or edition.
