From the thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1092, the TabIndex property and its functionality has been restored In the IWCGJQDropDown component with the 1.9.0.3312 release of cgDevTools. I greatly appreciate this.
From a useability perspective what I do notice is that when the user tabs into a DropDown component, the component is highlighted with the appropriate theme border so the user is notified of the focus. However, if the user starts to type with a placeholder present the dropdown list does not display. A second tab press is required before a key press will drop the dropdown list.
Interestingly, if a DropDown.Val is defined in code and an actual value is displayed rather than a placeholder, the dropdown is initiated with the first key stroke. It would be my suggestion from a useability perspective that a second tab press not be required with a place holder is present.
