If the JQMulitSelectOptions.SelectionMode was limited to d&d (drag and drop) then an OnClick event could be created.
This would be of value in the situation were the MultiSelect component was populated from a specific field value in a set of database records. Using the OnClick event, the user could capture the itemindex or text value of the multiselect item that was clicked on. This value could then be used to locate the associated database record and display other field values of the record in other components, i.e. grids or memos.
This displayed data could then be evaluated by the user to determine if selection or de-selection of a specific multiselect item was warranted.
