Add QRCode/BarCode reader component

I just suggested a geolocation component (http://www.cgdevtools.com/cgforum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1671), anyway i prefer to make a new topic for a new component, also this one is for a high priority project.

I'd like to have a component for reading barcodes (qrcorde and barcode ideally).

Use case.
1) wharehouse mobile web application
2) user stocks a product by reading the QRCode/barcode by clicking on "Scan" button
3) the device camera is started "in barcode scanning mode" (i do not know if this is possible/or may be by running the nativeapp for barcodes and waiting for result) and barcode is decoded
4) user inputs the number of items with a spinedit control and the stocking procedure is done.

Note: while for geolocation i know (from sencha) that this is achievable with html5/css/js, about this barcode reading i am not sure.

Please inform me about this.

At this moment, it's impossible.
It only possible with phonegap libraries (http://phonegap.com/).

Being phonegap open source it is not possible to wrap it in an Intraweb control?
