OK. Can you see if we (Enera, customer ID 211120044) have any premium support tickets (as I understand it, we may have one that came along with the purchase of ours site license?).

Hello Magosk

I told you before that

in dpk projection options / description / build control, you must check Explicit Rebuild

but i meant "Rebuild as needed", sorry.

I couldn't obviously compile your dpk, because i don't have the equivalent to

enVCL210.bpl enIntraWeb210,bpl

But i think the main problem is having

dclIntraweb_14_DXE7
and
dclIWCGJQMobile_140_210

in dpk's require session

why?

Afaics you need

Intraweb_14_DXE7,
IWCGJQCore_140_210
IWCGJQMobile_140_210

instead

Thanks, but that didn't help either, same error message. I have a possible clue to the problem:

When I try to compile a project containing a IWCGJQM form (without opening it in the IDE), I get the following compile error:

Code: Select all
[dcc32 Fatal Error] BaseClientCGMobileWebFrm.pas(9): F2051 Unit IWCGDsnPaintHandlers was compiled with a different version of IW.Common.System.FindInstanceContainingResource

Can it be that the setup-IW14.0.55.exe installer for the 3.5.0.218 Development version actually is not compatible with IW 14.0.63? I see now that you have newer releases since I started this thread. Should I perhaps try with 3.5.0.231 Stable or 4.0.0.3 Development instead?

Hi

Version IW14.0.63 is linker compatible with IW14.0.55.

You should check for multi copies of IW.Common.System.dcu because the compiler is using an outdated version

Hi magosk,

And did you removed the bundled version?

Yeah, I have had IW Ultimate versions for years (first thing I did was to remove the bundled version), and now the particular IW version 14.0.63 for quite a long time. And I do only have one version of IW.Common.System.dcu for Win32. I tried to uninstall CQ components and to install the new stable version, but I got errors with respect to access rights. I am going to restart my machine and try again tomorrow.

Hi

. I tried to uninstall CQ components and to install the new stable version

This will not fix this issue, because this not an error that we could provoque

Hi again! I cleaned up the C:\Program Files (x86)\CGDevTools directory manually, and installed the 3.5.0.231 Stable version (using the setup-IW14.0.55.exe). I get the same error when I try to compile a web application:
Code: Select all
[dcc32 Fatal Error] BaseClientCGMobileWebFrm.pas(9): F2051 Unit IWCGDsnPaintHandlers was compiled with a different version of IW.Common.System.FindInstanceContainingResource

When I uninstall this version and install our previously used version, 3.0.0.65, the web application again compiles fine, and I can install the language converter component package without problems. So I do not think there is any problem with my IntraWeb installation. Have you tested the specific combination "Delphi XE7 / IW 14.0.63 / components without source code" yourself for your latest releases?

Hi magosk,

Well, I suggest you to schedule the remote session support for this problem.

Best Regards.

Hi and thanks for the offer! I will raise the issue on our development/support meeting on Monday and get back to you. If the bug fix has high priority I will see if I can install something like TeamViewer (unless a Skype call with screen sharing is sufficient?) on my development machine. Another option might be to wait a couple of weeks for a new IntraWeb release (we are waiting on some security-related features from them, and plan to migrate to the latest version once they are completed) and see if the CGJQ installer works better for a newer IW version. But support/management will be the ones to decide on priorities, not me...
