Compatibility with MaterializeCSS

Suggest new components/features

by mfernandez92 » 01 Dec 2015 14:40

Hi, :D

There is a open framework that brings the Material Design concepts from Google to the Web.

It call MaterializeCSS (http://materializecss.com/), and his active comunity is working very hard to make it a great tool!

I think that CGDevtools could bring compatibility to Materialize, wining modern and responsive native components to Embarcadero Delphi.

I'm working on a project that fused both tools, getting very good results, but is going difficult to lead with responsive components, 12-column grid, and the tags of the inner divs.

Please, consider add compatibility to this excellent tool on your future releases.

Best Regards

After the small review, I can say, it have very similar structure of bootstrap, which is more powerful :)
We have some "nice ideas" in our roadmap ;)

Hi guys,
We have the new suite in our roadmap, which will work above the Bootstrap framework.
Can't tell when we will have it, but soon...

Best Regards.

It's not based on typescript and it's not angular2 (IMO it's new and perspective direction), but still very interesting what happen with new framework.

Hello everyone!
Typescript may be useful if you need to write hard JS code.
TS (that is superset of JS) much more comfortable for developers and easily transpiling to normal JS with source maps that allow debug TS code, while browser executes JS. That's just information, in case that someone didn't hear about TS.
Best regards!
