Applying Fixed Width Font

I have a need to add a style to each item within a JQCheckBoxList, as I am requiring a fixed width font (ie monospace). Please advise how to accomplish this. Using the CSS for the entire JQCheckBoxList has no effect.

I have added the new property "Classes" for this purpose...
